Clive Staples Lewis was born in Belfast, Ireland 29 November 1898 and died on 22 November 1963. His dad was Albert James Lewis. He was a British writer and lay theologian. He persevered in academic positions in English literature at both Oxford University (Magdalen College, 1925–1954) plus Cambridge University (Magdalene College, 1954–1963).
